Refurbishing / reconditioning of Tetra Pak® filling machines & downstream

As an owner of Tetra Pak® filling equipment you are striving to keep your machines in perfect techncial condition at all times. Should you decide to have your Tetra Pak® machinery undergo a partial or full scale refurbishing mission we are able to assist. Your machines shall be disassembled to their bare machine structures and then build up again. All steel parts are cleaned, shot blasted, coated with special antirust and finally repainted. Depending on the project scope we shall replace all major machine mechanical and electronic parts with genuine Tetra Pak® spare parts. Machines sections and single parts which are still in good condition can be reused or reworked before re-installation in order to save time and costs. Upgrade kits and format conversions will be installed during the entire refurbishing mission. Missing parts, for instance hand rails and platforms, are produced at our factory and then fitted onto the machine. Refurbishing missions of Tetra Pak® machines are usually carried out at our factory in Magdeburg, Germany.

Format conversions of Tetra Pak® filling machinery

Should your markets be demanding a new carton design you should consider utilizing your existing Tetra Pak® aseptic filling lines. Our experienced team has undertaken a large number of format conversions on Tetra Pak® machines TBA3, TBA8, TBA9, TBA19, TBA21, TBA22 and the A3 / Flex machine range. At all times UGM utilizes original Tetra Pak® spare parts for its format conversion assignments. Refurbished Tetra Pak® machines by UGM all come with a 12 month used machine guarantee and are tested for faultless operation before being shipped out again to the owner. We are also skilled to modify existing Tetra Pak® straw applicators, cardboard packers and other downstream equipment. Our field service team is able to provide you with a full-scale service making the re-start of your filling line an uncomplicated task.

Refurbishing of Tetra Pak®, APV and GEA process technology

UGM specialists are also capable of refurbish, repair and upgrade process equipment made by Tetra Pak®, GEA and APV®. We install new PLC controls and manufacture new electric cabinets to upgrade your existing UHT plant, pasteurizer, sterile tank or CIP unit.
